Ruger Super Redhawk .22 Hornet 9.5" Satin Stainless 8-Shot 05526

Ruger Super Redhawk

The Ruger Super Redhawk in .22 Hornet is a full-size revolver designed for hunters and precision shooters who want the versatility of the classic Super Redhawk platform chambered in a flat-shooting small-game cartridge. It features a 9.5 inch cold hammer-forged barrel, an 8-shot cylinder, and a satin stainless steel finish that resists corrosion in the field. The extended frame includes extra metal in the top strap, sidewalls, and barrel mounting areas to handle the cartridge while maintaining the series' reputation for strength and durability.

The double/single action trigger system allows either deliberate single-action shots or rapid double-action fire, and the transfer bar mechanism provides an added layer of security against accidental discharge. A black Hogue Tamer Monogrip with an internal recoil cushion under the web of the hand improves control and comfort during extended sessions, while the peg-style grip frame accepts custom grips if desired. Drift-adjustable rear sights pair with a replaceable HiViz green front sight for quick acquisition, and the 1:9" right-hand twist is optimized for the .22 Hornet. Integral scope mounts machined into the solid-steel barrel rib accept the included 1 inch stainless rings for a stable, zero-maintaining optic setup.

This revolver is well suited for varmint hunting, predator control, and longer-range small-game work where the .22 Hornet's velocity and accuracy shine. The 15 inch overall length and 66 ounce weight deliver a balanced feel that supports steady holds, while the triple-locking cylinder ensures positive alignment shot after shot. Collectors and enthusiasts who value robust stainless construction, scope-ready mounting, and the unique capabilities of the .22 Hornet in a heavy-duty revolver will find the Super Redhawk a practical and distinctive choice.
